Sometimes I need to press my "unlock" button 3 times to unlock the passenger side door. It occasionally works on the second press (the way it's supposed to function), however most of the time I need to press it 3 times. Has anyone else experienced this???

Yes. I think the problem was that I was pressing it the second time too quickly after the first press. When I slow down between the two presses, like half a second between each press, it seems to work fine. When I do it fast, like a normal mouse double-click, it usually doesn't work.

When I get frustrated, I just press it like 3 or 4 times, and that usually does the trick.

Thanks TX2KSE. I don't think I've tried waiting a few seconds after pressing it the first time. I'll try it next time. Thanks again!

I have noticed that also. I think waiting just a bit between button pushes like TX2KSE mentioned does seem to work.

Not necesarily a few seconds... just a little pause. Like, press it, then take your finger completely off the button before pressing it again.

Anyone know why they eliminated the feature where you can roll down the drivers window with your remote?

I believe you can open all doors, if you hold down the unlock button for 2-3 seconds, instead of tapping twice

No idea...That would have been a cool feature. But you can get that with an aftermarket alarm system though.

Don't hold down the button for 2-3 seconds. It will drain the battery after a couple times. Then you have to go through the work of reprogramming them. Like they said above, Press it once, then wait for .5-1 second to press it again. Waiting for 2+seconds will erase the "unlock all door" program and you would have to push it twice again to open all four doors, even though the drivers side is already unlocked.

TOLL: anyone else besides me have the factory alarm in the "silence" mode. Meaning no "Chirp" when the alarm is activated? Just curious

chirp

I have chirp set on... if I want a silent arm, I hit the arm button while one of the doors is still open.
