2k2 OEM HID look with OEM 00-01 Halogen bulbs?

Okay, I don't know **** about projectors and the like. Is this possible? I love the more aggressive look of the 2k2 HID housing and I do plan on eventually getting "full" HIDs, but I'm wondering in the meantime, is it possible for me to install the 2k2 HID housing and fix it up to run my stock 2k headlights until I can afford the actual HIDs?

Baby steps if you will.

Anyone?

Umm, I dont think its possible, because the entire set up is completely different. Well I take that back, anything is possible, but I just wouldnt have a clue or want to spend the time/money to get it to work.

it's not worth it...going "baby steps", that is. the entire 2002 unit (both driver & passenger side) is about $800.00-$1000.00. If you buy the headlight housing only, i think they're around $300.00/pair. Ballasts are about $300/side (you need 2, so $600). Then you need the bulbs which are about $150.00/ea. Since your car is a 2000-2001, you need connectors too (~$20-$50).

It's like a loan...if you pay it monthly, you'll end up paying twice as much as you borrowed. Save your money and buy the complete kit.

Hope it makes your decision easier.
