I've got a 2001 maxima se with 17 inch rims. What size tire would i go to if i wanted to put some cheap 16 steel wheels on for the winter. Also, would this affect the car changing the tire size?

 

i would go 215 60 16 if you put the 16's on, and the ride quality would improve in terms of softness over bumps and such, but performance would suffer if you are a aggressive driver, wouldnt affect the car any other way.
