I am currently looking at the 2000 and 2001 Maximas for my next car. One thing that is important to me is service-ability.

Are the Maximas easily serviced my the consumer, or will I have to take it to the dealer for most repairs and maintenance???

Are the repair parts readily available through Advance Auto, Auto Zone, etc.???

I currently have a VW Passat and everything is a "dealer part" and most things can only be serviced by the dealer.


Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
