Hey guys,
I don't know how many of you have seen the thread on the General Maxima discussion about the chat room that we can all use, but the turnout there isn't that great yet(avg. 10-18 people). I think it would be real cool if a lot of us start using it to exchange info quicker, and just discuss our beloved Max's and other stuff.

If you have AIM, invite yourself to a chat, and put "maxima dot org" as the room name. See you there!!!

BTW, maybe we should sticky this thread for a little bit so that members can see it. My .02

 

I recently loaded AOL IM, now here is a simple question, how do you invite yourself to a chat?

Just add yourself to your buddy list, right-click your screen name, and then do "send chat invitation". Then just enter "maxima dot org" in the chat room name, and you're there.

 

Keep this thread number one on the thread forum, more people would notice it

 

Another cool thing that we could do is break up the chat room (I guess create new ones) that are for specific gens. This way the topics would hopefully stay more concise. As of right now, stuff just gets exchanged, but everyone has diff Maxi's so it's hard to discuss things. We can also keep the current one as the General Max discussion one (similar to the forum).

Any ideas/feedback?

 

i would say splitting them would be cool.......by the way good idea with the chat room!
