Hi-Rev Tuners- Speed Channel- Sunday Nights

Most of you are probably already aware of this, but on Sunday nights at 10:30 EST, there is a show called Hi-Rev Tuners that features import cars. I haven't seen a Maxima yet, but there is this blonde ditz host that is blatantly reading cue cards when she is showing a featured car. She makes me want to smash my TV with a crowbar.

Anyhow, the show is cool and they do a lot of features at car shows and an occassional "how to". Anyone else watch this?

Yeah, I've seen it. I like the concept, but it's pretty much a forum for everyone to show off their fast-n-furious rice mobiles. The how-to stuff would be better if it didn't revolve around bolting picnic tables on the back of a Honda, or the best way to put logo stickers on that hideous Civic Si they are modding.

I have seen High "RICE" Tuners on Speed on a few occasions. The hosts are a joke, as is the whole show.

I watched the show. It's okay. It does give a lot of props to the civic/integra owner. All of the hosts of the are idiots. I laugh everytime they start to talk about the cars. I don't think there will ever be a max on there. They only show over the top modded civics. and the occasional real sports car. They treat the max like it is almost total lux. Idiots. The whole show is confused. They think that the civic is the first sport compact. Did they forget the vw rabbit? Or are they too young to remember it? The asian chic (poonkasem) is hot though.

Speed Channel. Formerly Speedvision. You've gotta have cable.

I watch that show too. It is OK. The biggest complaint I have is that the photography absolutely SUCKS!!!! Don't those people realize how iritating the "stop-start", jerky and tilted video is?! It totlally distracts from what, otherwise, could be an interesting program (aside from the non-existant Maxima coverage.)

I occassionally watch it hoping for something truly useful or interesting, let alone Max related. No such luck...

As far as television goes, it kind of reminds me of grade school kids trying to present Shakespeare...you know, more inteerested in being cute and noticed than aware of the content.

I watched this last weekend. They showed Atlanta NOPI meet. They had a burnout contest and i saw a black (maybe green) 5th gen burning hard.
I like the bikini contest

Heck yeah. It's really the "Buy these all-show-no-go APC crap mods from Pep Boys, and oh yeah buy Quakerstate oil too" show. The only cars with any speed on that show are the pro drag cars they show every once in a while. The rest of the cars are advertisements for various show products. And that dumbass kid with the civic hatchback fetish needs to die for being so friggin' dumb. I'm insulted that they even show a glimmer of that green Maxima on that show.
