Clear Corners are FOGGING UP :(

Hey guys,
My clears are fogging up since we have cold weather now in MD.

What can i do to stop them from fogging?

I have a 2k max

pull them out and put a coating of clear silicone on the crease of the light. this will keep out moisture almost completely. if youve already done that then there isnt too much left except make sure you are using a regular bulb and not led and the heat might burn off some of the condensation.

I bought home depot silicone and its not working becuase of the cold temp

you may want to pull them and make sure that there arent any blank or empty spots along the track.

You have to make sure that you've chased all the water and water vapor out. Otherwise all you've done is seal it up inside. FWIW, using a hair dryer to heat everything from the inside works quite nicely. Aim it through the bulb hole, but make sure to leave space for the air (and the moisture!) to get out. After the light assembly has been warm to the touch everywhere for a couple of minutes or so you should be done. I had this problem exactly once with the driver's side headlight on my Mazda 626.

Just tried the hair dryer thing and didn't work for me. Actually made things worse. The plastic melted a bit before I noticed. Ordering new rear clears and I'm gonna do it the correct way this time.
