In-cabin filter question

I pulled the filter out to clean it but my brain wasn't working at the time and I forgot to note which way the filter came out. I think I put it in back it the right way, but just wanted to confirm. "Dirty" side towards the outside of the car, clean side facing in, right? Thanks.
