WOW (Factory wood trim $$ Ouch!!)

Called Courtesy Nissan about possibly changing my titanium fimish in my 2003 SE to the factory woodgrain, OUCH!!!! 167.00 Console piece,
68.00 for each door. Before everyone says that aftermarket is a whole lot cheaper, I understand, I just don't want anything that sticks on. Anybody out there with a 2003 GLE want to switch to Titanium ????

The way I understand it, although I dont have facts, is that the "factory" stuff is just a "sticker" too.

Why would you ever want to go from Titanium to that fake wood??? That's the one reason I didn't get GLE... that fake wood trim...

I have an SE with Titanium, but from what I understand the factory wood grain pieces are one solid piece of plastic. At least they were for my 96 Max. Thats why they cost so much. You can get the "MOLDED" overlay's(Not Flat), that look almost as good for a fraction of the cost.

Young04,
I'm in Texas. Mine is too, of course the car is only 3 weeks old. Would be very interested. Going to look at me brochure (Max) tonight again and make sure this is what I want to do. I think we'll probably have to exchange the whole door switch. I'm assuming that they are the same?? Do you have any pics of your interior?? IF not, would you be interested in just doing the shifter piece with ashtray??
eep me posted.

Make sure you are both automatics before you tear your car apart. If the SE is a 6 speed, you can't switch with a GLE.
