Trouble with 6CD indash Bose

Has anyone else had problems with their Bose head unit. I have a 2k2 factory installed 6CD in dash, and it's been skipping like crazy. Even on a brand new CD, it seems to do it more often when it's cold outside. I've also had problems with the left side cutting out, it sounds like the speakers are blown, but after a few minutes they come back and sound fine. Anyone else had similar problems?
