Anyone know the part number for the wire harness that runs between the HID computer starter and bulb?

 I don't smell anything, although I do see a post which has very little information. You should have posted pictures or explained what it is, not just said 'something' is coming out 'soon' that will prevent theft. And by the way, no one is stealing the headlights off of 2k1s, because they aren't the HID housings that everyone is trying to get their fingers on!

I was just on www.courtesynissan.com and they are selling a security kit for the 02 & 03 headlights for like 59.00. I'd like to get something for security as well, what is the best thing to do. Chris

It's probably a big metal cage that goes around the 2k2 & 2k3 lights. Probably makes it look like the front end of a bull dozer. But shhhhhhhh...

Wow that Nissan kit comes with a new hood latch and all. Looks pretty nice.

maybe you should know what the proper years are for the headlight theft before you go and try to sell some BS product

Ok great, where do I send my money? Paypal? Personal Check? Cash? No need to tell me what the product is, how much it will cost, what it does, or when you will have it.

If you truly do have a good product for the years that are getting the headlights stolen you will never sell it here by keeping it a secret.

Maybe it is that same guy that was trying to sell an easy way to make our orange blinker clear for our 2K2 tailights...

HID Security System

How to prevent them from getting them stolen.

Remove HID assembley before thief does it for you.

What a Joke!

That hood lock kit does look nice, although I can't really tell from the picture how it would look when installed. If someone buys it, I hope they post pics/opinions on it.

Yeah, a CPG(cow push guard) would work nicely!

The scary thing is this guy says he is a Nissan Tech in his profile. If that's true it's pretty sad he doesn't know which year Max's have HID's

I took my 2K1 in for a TSB with my 2K2 HIDs and they didn't even notice or say a word. That was when the 2K2s were barely out, so I figured they would have stood out.

They even turned them on for their "inspection".
