I know someone out there has added a box and amp to there Blose system. What will I need to do this? Do i have to replace the head unit? Im clueless here..Please help

 

No you dont need to do that. Just tap into the low level wired off the bose sub plug. There is a black and white wire on that plug along with two or three other wires. The black is positive and white is negative. Tap these wires to a cut end of an RCA cable. Then the RCA cable goes to the amp. And you done.
