I've been driving my wife's SuperCrew for the last few months and have only been able to drive my Maxima on the weekends when we've gone shopping. I miss it a lot . It has every option including the Navigation system. I miss the heated seats (cold Midwestern weather), the Bose stereo (although maligned, it is much better than the stock Ford system with "packaged" tweeters in the A-pillar), the power (260 V8 horses dragging 5005lbs versus "255/240" V6 horses pulling 3261lbs), the relatively crisp handling, the power, the power, the power, the power. Did I mention how much I missed the power? I can't wait to get my car back from my wife. A few weeks after we switch back I have a feeling she'll want to get a new SUV with more "refinement" than the SuperCrew; the Max may have spoiled her. Oh well. Only a few more weeks.

Can you explain why you haven't been driving it?

Majority of the trucks and SUVs are not built for performance, that is one reason I havn't bought a SUV or truck yet. Ford Lighting is reasonable priced but no 4WD or AWD thus not suitable for snow

Odd: Wife usually driving the big truck and the husband usually driving the 4-door family car?

My wife has been driving the Max since the 7th month of pregnancy because the truck is too uncomfortable for her; especially the climb up into the cab (it's a 4x4). The baby is due in 10 days and I'll get the Max back afterwards.

RE: The "odd" part. I don't have an image issue like a lot of people in this area who use their vehicles to bolster their manhood. My wife and I buy (and drive) what will make us happy; not what makes us look good or trendy. For example, I bought a big 1500cc cruiser with lots of chrome and very loud pipes last November only to get rid of it in June for a 600cc race-replica because the cruiser was absolutely boring to ride. I'd compare the cruiser to the SuperCrew in that they both bark louder than they bite. On the other hand, my Max and Ninja have lots of bite/punch and I enjoy operating them.

a Mercedes ML55 SUV will destroy a maxima in a race...

also, the Jeep grand cherokee has an overland edition which features 265 hp...will give the max a good run

again, these things arent cheap...but remember..you will be able to race in a thunderstorm

btw...i love racing fast cars in the rain/snow with my jeep...always win (at the beginning at least)!

This is kinda like the situation my wife and I were in during her pregnancy. We bought the Max for her last year, but I bought a TrailBlazer in February, and she fell in love with it. I, of course, was completely willing to trade, but she had to keep driving the Max until the baby came. After she could drive again, I let her drive the truck for a week, and I haven't had it since. :P
