FrankenCar installed.

Took about 1.5 hours, but would only take a half hour next time.
Looks good, sounds great, and seems like the butt-dyno agrees. I'm sure it will get more performance in a week or so.

After looking at all the left over pieces, I cant help but think how restrictive the stock air box is.

I didn't know if anyone else took the ram-air sections off or not but I did. My question is what is the big white box under the battery, and is it ok to remove that too? Oh, and the air temp sensor was a joke. How does that thing work..it looked loke a piece of plastic. My guess is its a thermometer os sorts.

That piece of plastic is a resonator, and yes it is OK to remove it.

You can remove it but, but I beleive you also have to move the battery/holder to actually get the thing out of there. How long did it take for your intake to come in?

It took me 4 days to get it. There was one on ebay for $75 buy it now, so I did. Helluva deal. I'm not sure if the seller was on the .org or not.

After you drive arond a bit more your ecu will learn the a/f curve and you'll see a lil more in your butt dyno too

the computer adjusts the fuel to air ratio...right?, then if the engine gets more air, wouldnt it need more fuel thus decreasing MPG
