I have questions about 2 separate things. First, I wanna change all the lights on my 2k2. Besides getting the clear side markers with white bulbs, I want to change the rear (and front, if possible) signal lights from the amber cover and bulbs to a clear covering and white bulbs. Is that legal? If so (or if not, either way i still wanna do it), do I have to change the entire tail light? Where can I get what I need to do all that? I searched the FAQ's but found nothing.

Second, I'm buying the frankencar w/ midpipe, and I was looking for detailed installation directions besides what is offered on the frankencar site, but I couldn't find any. Does anyone know where I can find them? Thanks.

You can change the lights in your headlights. One is just a straight bulb replacement, while the orange plastic part needs to be removed by you. Then you need some type of clear cover to go over it. Search for clearing out headlights.

With your tails, you're SOL. People have tried and gone through sets of tail lights. It just isnt possible to get the orange piece out. Search for posts on it by Emax95.

Thanks...the only reason i ask about the tails is becasue i've seen it done before, so i think it's possible. i hope so, at least

The pics you saw were photoshopped. You can purchase 2k-2k1 SE tails as well. Its a direct replacement and you dont have the orange lense.

Actually, what bulbs do I need to get for the front and rear side markers? What size are they (2k2), and what brands would be good to buy? Thanks.

Front's come with orange bulbs from custommaxima.com. Rears you have to order. They are 194 wedge bulbs. Make sure to use silicone to seal the clear markers or you'll be buying more.
