i just got off the phone with Stillen.
Stillen finally heard the complaints of many rust problems with their Y-PIPE....now, Stillen Y-Pipes are also chrome coated(wait....i'm not sure if it is chrome or something else...)...anywayz...the point is....it is no longer made out of nickel and other alloy....so, the new Y-Pipes will not rust like the old ones!!!
i'm picking one up this afternoon. i'll post tonite about my new investment!

the price on these new Y-pipes have also gone up...
it's now at $347 instead of $299.....
well, i guess this is a small price we must pay for rust-free pipes...

But I guess it's better than having your pipe rusting after 5000 miles.

& it's not chrome ... it's ceramic coated ... the same stuff that Cattman decided to discontinue use of ...

would it be possible to just buy the older one and spray that anti rust stuff on it

 

i don't think Stillen sells the old ones anymore..
but maybe if you ask them, they might sell it to you if they have it..

anywayz....i haven't installed my Y-pipe yet..
probably tomorrow...can't wait!!!!
