gtech quarter times and 0-60..........
I got my buddy's G-tech sitting at my house but I haven't had a chance to use it on my new 2k2 SE. I'm waiting until the engine is broken in.
I hope this doesn't make you feel too bad, but my '96 T-bird 4.6L w/ cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust did 0-60 in that same time.
You should be able to break into the upper sixes if your wheels don't spin. Gotta heat 'em up like they do at the drag races if you want supreme grip!!
I have the same wheelspin problem myself - these stock 17" tires sure spin easy...

remember my car is a 3.0 and has less torque than yours.my stock 1\4 times are 15.8 and 7.8 0-60 in mags with auto trans.........i need to minimize wheel spin.......i'll keep trying soon....
You can let a few psi out of the front tires for better grip and you can try holding the brake with one foot while giving the car a little gas with the other to get the revs up a little. When you let off the brake you'll have more of an instant response off the line. I'm not talking about giving the car a brake torque or anything, just a little throttle.
Good luck.......

I've used G-Techs at the track and they typically read .2-.3 seconds and 2-3mph too fast. The MPH is actually right on for the 1/4 mile, but at the track they average your MPHs over the last 60' therefore you're 2-3mph slower.
I'd bet you could pull off a 15.5-15.6@89-90mph at the track.

Here's an exerpt from their website:
Why is my G-TECH/Pro consistently 2-3 mph above the track?
G-TECH/Pro is a very accurate machine, and the trap speed result that you get from the G-TECH/Pro is actually more accurate than the racetrack. Reason is that the racetrack averages your speed over a 60 feet stretch between two beams and G-TECH/Pro measures your speed at the exact 1/4 mile point.

I had added a cat-back exhaust and CAI as well as under drive pulleys. That stuff helps, but not much. Besides, it's a HEAVY freakin car. It wasn't geared for acceleration at all. The sick thing is that there are TONS of people on the TCCOA board that have dumped huge sums of cash into their cars to make them semi-respectable. Just not worth it.... by the time you have the engine running great w/ mods and such the damn car is rattling apart on you!
