HID Bulb Cover

Anybody have any information on where I might be able to find this?

In the description it basically says;

Some of the Japanese doesn't like the "White Beam" produce by the HID, so they developed a Bulb Cover that has a layer of High Temperature resistant paint that will make the HID produce a "Unique" plasma like beam.

I found this in one of my Chinese Car Tuning megazines.

Very interesting. Only thing I would like to know is how much loss of lumens would we be losing.

My thoughts exactly. If you really wanted the extra blue color, you could probably get a set of 6000k D2Rs and not lose as much light as you would with that filter.

But I checked the specs on the 6000k D2R bulbs and they do have a significant less amount of lumens.

Yeah....

And like I said, he'd probably get more light out of a 6000k bulb than he would that colored glass filter AND he would still get the desired "bluer" color output.
