Ohh ya

Heres the vids of me racing a 2000-2001 SC auto max with a Y-pipe and I beleive some other exhaust work.

Race 1 is from 0-100, race two is from 20-120 and race 3 is 0-100. It looks like I leave first in all of them but we take off at the same time.

Ohh also I have Steve in my car too, he weighs around 200ish, the SC max just had one light weight person driving.

Well think about it.

2k-2k1 Auto's do 0-60 in 7.8 stock. 2k2 6spds do 0-60 in around 6.2 stock. You figure that with the basic bolt ons and stock pulley, the 2k SC would get to 60 in around 6.3 seconds. With Ethans bolt ons he is easily getting to 60 in the 5's. As far as the quarter mile, The Max is probubly a mid 14 sec. car, while Ethan is in the 13's.

According to this calcualtor I did 0-60 in 4.75 seconds at the track). Try otehr peoples #'s and you will see it pretty accurate.

Car and driver did 0-60 in 6.0 with a 6spd max.

I havn't run it yet with the 3.25, and don't plan to run at all till I put the 2.87 on.

The stereo that you see on my hompage is very out of date, but just to let you know the car will be weighed friday to prove that the car does not weight To much more than factory. Remember fiberglass does not weigh that much. But I can tell you I ran a friend of mine on the street, that ran 13.3 at the track, and beat him to 100, by a rather large amount, so I would say somwhere under that

Don't forget I got mad stuff done to the tranny, which I think shaved at least 1/2 a sec off the quarter, if not upwards of a 3/4...I know this is prob not going to be execpeted on here, but o well.

I did not know you had tranny work. What exactly was done to your tranny to add such a signifacant gian? Components lightened, gear ratios tigthened? Stall convertor, VB recalibration? Get to the track and let's see what happens!

I don't have it all in my brain, do a search, I did post it at some point, early this year, people wanted to debate it then too ...But it's quick, very quick. ONce you see it you will get why I can't memorize it all.

One other thing to add to the stereo thing, the thing I always forget to say, is that tons of metel was tossed, I'd say somwhere around 100 lbs of metel plus the spare...so when you consider the stereos weight it's my feeling thats it's prob not much more than 50-75 lbs more than factory with that...The big things to me is the s/c, the intercooler, wheeels to some extent, but also I got lighter suspenstion and so on...Thats why I wanna get it weighted, so I know what it weights outta pure wonder.

No need for debate, just take it to the track, case closed

Yeah but when I did the tranny, I also changed boost and so on, all at the same time...So coun't really do it...I personaly don't care what each peice does, just the end result, and when the engine is done soon, I'll take it..I figure with 12-13 psi and all that is done it should be very scary, and when the tracks open this season I'll do it finally, least thats the plan, long as I stop messing with the stereo I will do it, and hopfully finsish the custom kit ideas and all soon.
