Well a good friend of mine had a 99sel with a 12# Vortech, 5 speed 3" exhaust, and the best he ever ran was 13.80@103 with 272 FWHP. Remember that the Max is wrong wheel drive, so you theoretically need twice the power to run 12's than a RWD car would. Even on a 275/50/15 drag radial his best 60' ever was a 2.0, I've cut 1.8's on the same tire in the Stang Good luck tho' but I'm betting high 13's unles you have a higher stall torque convertor and some sticky tires.

The stereo that you see on my hompage is very out of date, but just to let you know the car will be weighed friday to prove that the car does not weight To much more than factory. Remember fiberglass does not weigh that much. But I can tell you I ran a friend of mine on the street, that ran 13.3 at the track, and beat him to 100, by a rather large amount, so I would say somwhere under that

thats quoted in the mags for a stock 1000.thats even quicker than busa's and zx-12's. remember it is very hard to keep the front end down. if you ever get a chance to ride one. the bike will wheelie first 3 gears with just throttle. and top out at 179-180 by a radar. you can't compare that to any other 1liter bike nevermind a 600. i'm not putting down your bike, just picture your bike with 40 more hp and 30 more torque.........only weighing 14 lbs more.

My car as it sits right now puts down more than that. Has the tranny work which makes it faster, and decent traction. 13.8 sound like crap to me, there are 2k's with stock boost getting below 13.5. So how much are you betting exactly?

Thats true, 40more hp is visicious. Im already getting my azz kicked on this 600. I think this is where I will stay.... I have never wheelied the bike or even taken the turns fast on this bad boy. I still dont trust my bike or myself.

I got my bike upto 165 one time on this nice strech highway in our technology cooridor. Only reason I was up at that speed is because when I entered the booth, this porsche 911 turbo (like the one on the movie Bad Boys) instigated me.... I nodded my head and took off, the porche was till not too far behind me.... like 20-30 car lengths, but still he must have been going 150 to attempt to stay close with me. What a rush..... I got pulled over like 30secs later by an unmarked police car. Got a warning. Mainly because the got did not hit me with radar. He said he saw me enter the toll booth and about 30secs later saw me around 2miles further down the road..... He knew I was going triple digit speeds but didnt know how fast.

The cop knew I just got the bike, and was being cool. I even had my laptop bag strapped to my back seat. He told me to take the bike to the racetrack if you want to do top speed, not this highway.

This is basically a dead issue until you actually go to the track, but I do dyno tuning for a living, and have seen my fair share of 300fwhp cars run high 13's. So go to the track, and get a timeslip. It's kinda hard to believe that a 16 second car stock is gonna cut off a whole 3 seconds with a blower and a shift kit. So until you actually go to the track I'll shut up and wait for the slip to show up.

Yeah first off, I have a whole lot more than a shift kit buddy, infact the whole tranny is no where near remote stock country. And the 2k max is not a 16 second car, more like 15 flat if you suck. But yes it is a dead issue, I will get to the track when I get there.

ANd lastly, what makes you think you can be so sure not even knowing or having a remote clue what all is done to the car? Who do you think can tell better, you who has very little idea, and don't even know what it looks like , guessing across the damn internet, or me...The guy that drives it, builds it, and knows everything that is done to it...Yeah ME.
