Well i just wired and connected my old 2k headlights cause they stole my new 2k2 HIDS. Now my right turn signal wont work when the lights are on...also on the gauge cluster the (highbeam indicator and right turn signal indicator are dimly lit).
I know i did something wrong and i did it knowingly. The h4 and turn signal connectors i bought from DaveB each have 3 wires coming out of them. But they are BLACK!! they dont match with the colored wires that come out of the maxima. So i need to know which color goes in what position in back of the plugs.
From the actual car the 2 sets(1 from headlight and 1 from turn signal) have color patterns to them.
So i was wondering if someone could look at their connectors and tell me what color wire goes into the back of their h4 plug and most importantly its position. FOr instance pink with black wire goes in the middle of the plug. White with red wire goes to the left . Green and orange goes to the right.(thats just for the h4 connector.)
I know its confusing but i just wannna start driving my car. Email me with any questions.

Alright, unfortunately it is going to be hard to help you on this since all the wires from the plugs are black. First off you need to trace back each wire from the plug to which part it controls in the headlight housing.

Like figure out on the 3plug for the turn signal, which one the left wire controls, the center, and the right......

From there I can help, but to help easier, here is the break down for a 2k car and the wire colors. These are the colors and what they do from the harness side of your car, not the plug or the headlight assembly side.

Turn Signal Wires
-----------------
Black - Ground
Red/Yellow - 12V for Parking light
Green/Black or Green/Yellow - 12V for Turn Signal or Hazards

Driver Side H4 wires
--------------------
Pink/Black - 12V
Blue/White - High Beam Ground (switched)
Green/Yellow - Low Beam Ground (switched)

Passenger Side H4 wires
-----------------------
Orange/Black - 12V
LightGreen/Black - High Beam Ground (switched)
Blue/Black - Low Beam Ground (switched)

Remember, This is the colors ONLY FOR A 2k, the wire colors changed slightly on a 2k1. Now just make sure you wired the Turn Signal wires correct. I gaurantee the ground or something is swithced with another wire. Like I said, trace each wire on that 3black wire plug DaveB sent you for the turn signal and find out what it does and splice it accordingly to the right wire. You will be aaaaaaaaight.

Your 2K2 HID wire master..... Now engineered 2k2-to-2k1 REVERSE wiring. Hahah
