arrrgg...hit a garbage can

Dammit...I hit a garbage can when I was backing up on New Year's Eve...I was making it easier for my girlfriend's grandmother to get into my car so I was backing up to the driveway and didn't realize that they kept their garbage cans in the street, I hit it and it left a huge scratch from the beginning of the back door to the wheel well...grrrrr. Hope it will come out easy, or if it doesn't anyone have any solutions that I can perhaps buy from Wal-mart?...Least I didn't hit her grandmother...that would be bad. Just had to vent, feel free to lock, delete, whatever.

Each of the four doors on my car has a large ding from where someone else opened their door into my Max. I am always careful where I park. Only in good size parking spaces, often times farther out in the lot away from the other cars. It sucks, but what are you gonna do?

You could try Meguires Scratch Remover. It worked, ok for a small scratch that i had.

The only thing you're gonna get at WalMart is a new garbage can!

That sucks dude, I recently backed into my g/f's car. Now I'm looking at $1000 to repair mine...no estimate on hers yet.

I did that with my '95 and my wife's Millenia, when I didn't notice she'd left it out. The beauty of backing one of your cars into your other is that you maximize the hit to your wallet...

Well, I guess I could get another g/f and save the cost of the repair. But for you a divorce would be too much $$$$!

I need to vent too...

Tired and not wanting to go to work on Tuesday morning I tried backing out of the garage in first gear. Yes, I said BACKING out of the garage in FIRST.

Before I got it stopped I hit the a wheel barrow and broke it's handle. Luckily I stopped before pinning the wheel barrow between the Max and the wall.

I hope those scratches will buff out. Funny cause now I'd swear my driver's headlight is a little off. (It's not)...but I'd swear it's different.

Oh well, that's life.

So, Wasim521, I feel your pain.

I actually tried Meguires Clean Wax after reading about it in the faqs...it lessened it so that some of the marks aren't as noticeable, but the rest are not going away quite so easily Thanks for the suggestion though.

Wow, all these crazy stories, we must all be kltuzes
