I know the suspension is stiffer on the SE but other than that?
Tnx

PS I know the 6sp is faster.

Pretty obvious question, what are you getting at?

To answer your question no. They both are the same speed and to be quite honest you get more bang for your buck with the GLE IF your going to get an auto. You can beef up your suspension to be much better than the SE with less than $1000. The SE charges almost $2,000 for the upgraded suspension.

My belief is that manual transmissions are only faster until you get in the low 13's then the auto becomes the trans of choice.
The reason I asked the question was because I wan't sure there was something on the the GLE or SE auto's that you didn't get on the GXE ie VLSD etc. But I don't believe VLSD is available with the auto in any model unlike the 4th Gens where LSD came stock on auto SE's in Cda. The suspension makes no difference to me because I block mine for racing so doesn't mattter if its soft or hard stock.
So I guess the GXE is probably a bit lighter then with less options so maybe that is the way to go.
Thanks for the response guys, I am in the process of selling the 4th Gen and looking for a new ride for this season.

Coincidentally I was in our bank today, and glanced through some of the car books - according to them, that's not correct. The price of the SE is only about $1,500 more than the GXE, while the price of the GLE is $2,000+ plus more than the SE. Can't remember if these prices were invoice or list, but the gap should be about the same.
