Now that I've seen this, I really think we have a good case.

VQMan:
I was at MC Racing when Russ dynoed his bonestock 2001 5 speed SE. He put down 183fwhp and 191fwtq. This should be a good comparo because his 2001 had low miles and he did his runs on the same dyno you and I use.
SO, we're looking at a 17% drivetrain loss for the 2000-2001 5 speed. For your car, you're looking at a 20% loss (I think Nissan fudged the numbers a little). Do keep in mind that the 2000+ Maximas are running tire/wheel combos that weigh ~10lbs more than the 4th gen 15" SE rims. 10lbs of extra rotational mass can be seen on the dyno.

but we'd have to make sure they had 17's....
I really should just wait and see what happens w/philadephia experiment...they are trying to get a volunteer to pull his engine there...I don't know if anyone has taken them up on the offer...
when is the KCIR gathering of the Maxes?

My car was bone stock and done at a Maxima meet in Maryland on a Dynojet. http://paulwendy.com/maxima/pauldyno.jpg
(other Cali Spec Cars)
170.1 Bryan 2000 SE, manual, no mods
182.0 Mike, 2000 SE, manual, Stillen intake
Later I got 169 with a popcharger. At a later meet other people with the similar setup dyno'd around the same HP. (within 1 HP of mine.) What mods do you have?
My best ET with this car was 15.47. Usually it ran a 15.8 though.

I did it for the baseline before I put the supercharger on.

Just disappointing to see all this crap about what a Ypipe gives and all this nonsense, seems exaggerated. All the mods I only 22hp more at the crank if you use the 25% drivetrain loss. 183/.75=244hp.
Even then I got one of the highest #s of same modded auto. Kev got 181.5wp and only 171 lbs.
