Chrome dipped factory rims for '02 Max SE

I have a question for you guys... I was in the market in purchasing some aftermarket rims for the Max. For a while now, I was set to order a set of '20 Miglias... I was thinking the other day that the 5 star '02 Max SE 17" rims would be awesome if they were chromed... I went to Tires and parts and they contacted a supplier who deals in this type of thing. To make a long story short, my wheels are already dipped and ready to be shipped. The costs is $860.00 (includes shipping, mount/balance; etc.)

Do you guys think this is a bad idea, considering the stock rims are already heavy.. or I would not even know the difference.. What do everyone think?

Thanks,

Joseph

the 02 se rims are 6 spoke. they will look good. and they will be heavy for a 17" rim but if you did put on the 20" chrome they would be heavier.
