bummer on our tires... 6th gen will use diff size..

This should make it even harder to get our size. I mean, if there's no current production car running this size...

btw, they have 225/55/17 on their specs.. with an 18 option. Given our wheel gap, I think they always wanted to put 18's on a max and are just now getting around to it.... OR the 6th gen will have 2x more gap

a guy photoshoped a dropped 2004 max with 18"....looks DAMN nice

its so nice to have that kind of wheels on your car STOCK, from the side i bet it looks really good and from the back with those wide *** 245's

Do we know of ANY other cars that come with the 225 50 17 stock? I can't think of even one......

The base model 350Z comes with 225/50/17

in the fronts at least....I dont recall if the rears were the same size..the car I drove had Potenza RE040's in 225/50/17 size

To me the 55 aspect ratio means they're focusing more on comfort, proving they want to push the 04 Max more upscale than ever (I can just see it, "Cars like it, the Avalon"...)

I thought the Z had 18s all around (the reason so many people were looking to see if they could get them in ther max)

The 'Track' version of the Z has 18's, the

base model has 17's.

And, as stiffly sprung and rough as that car was when I drove it (with 17's) I would shudder to think what it will ride like with 18's.

I think I'm getting old....
