Leather steering wheel

Has anyone tried to treat their leather steering wheel with something that'll make it a little more "grippy"? Too much time in the gym has left my hands pretty dry. Maybe baseball glove oil? Any suggestions?

Why not leave the wheel alone and work on the hands?

Point taken, but I'm a gym rat. Cutting off callouses don't work.
