Max is CRAZY fast in this cold weather!...

I couldn't believe the torque steer & acceleration feeling I got tonight from my auto Max. The freakin intake was screaming! and the car was pulling like a turbocharged eclipse!

The outside temp was 20deg. Man the car pulled so nice! Even on the highway it was seriously kicking! I guess the intake can really take advantage of the cold air. I bet it would kick some A$$ at the track in this weather!

Kloogy - you don't know what your missing, man!

True! To maximize the experience catch a adrenaline rush at around 3-4:00 am or when the air is that cool with a little moisture. I made a helluva screech one nite coming home around 3:20am.

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing...with the temp basically 40 to 50 degrees daily. I can't believe how much power there is...I also can't believe how much power loss there is during the summer, especially with the intake. Gonna have to get a heat shield or something!

Hey 02MaXiMa_GLE, can you imagine at -25 Celcius, well that's the kind of weather we got these day over here. It's freakin cold but so fun.

Cheers

Oh yeah, doublea... I can imagine. I was there in Toronto (the big T-O) Spring 2001 & New years 2000! It was sooooo damn cold at night! And snow everywhere! Good thing I had my stupid 4x4 Blazer back then.

Totally agree man. My SE has been pulling hard with these sub-freezing temperatures in NJ. The only caveat is the frigging torque steer has me nervous now. My first mod may be an LSD afterall.

Peace.
