yeah right get my *** under the car, with no tools and in 20 degree weather. You are so confident as if you've done it yourself. Shutup boy

I paid 60 bucks. But I have since taken the pipe off and wrapped it in exhaust wrap... and it was not that difficult. The most important item is a can of WD-40. It was impossible to turn the bolts without it. But then I live in So Cal. so I don't have to deal with rust/corrison....

paid around $65...

in case you want to do it yourself...make sure you have all necessary tools..a swival joint and long extensions are a MUST! if you don't have these tools, either buy'em or go to a muffler shop.

the hardest part is taking apart the stock y-pipe and all bs heat shields..

and then you have to deal with the aftermarket y-pipe's weird 'fitting' problems.

ok thanks, guys. I just "ordered" my Y-pipe from Budget, and will go to the local muffler shop for install, just to be on the safe side.

Cost me $20 bucks to get the rhino ramps. I second the recommmendation to have a "wobbly" socket to get at the bolts. Other than that, its about one of the easiest jobs you can do yourself.
Budget fit was great. Clearly one of the best bang for the buck mods you gan get.

How long of an extension do you need?

I picked up a 10-12" just to be safe. The trick on this is to use a 1/2" driver instead of 3/8". With 1/2", its pretty easy to remove the bolts. I tried w 3/8 and couldn't get leverage on the small socket.

Having the "wobbly" socket end helps.
