Absolutely WALKED a V6 Mustang just now

So, I'm on the way home from Wal-Mart when one of "those" guys (V6 'stang, ricer wing, loud exhaust) comes flying around me just as I'm about to change lanes. I even used my turn signal and everything.

So, he flies around me, then cuts directly in front of the car that was in front of me. So, I change lanes... as planned... and happen to be next to him at a light. Light turns green... nothing. But the fool drives right next to me all the way to the next light (red again, of course). Now, at this light, he decides to play the rev game, and is kind of half-a$$ jumping his car forward at the light (5-speed), you know... jump it forward a foot or two, then roll back slowly. So, it's one of those intersections where the turn lanes go first, then the lights for the straight lanes turn green afterward. First off, the guy almost pulls into the intersection when the green arrows come on, then he has the nerve to back up and give me, of all people, a full-on fartcan rev just before our light turns. Well, being the always prepared type, I already had my auto in 1, and was torque braking (only about 1000 rpms).

Long story short... light turns green, we both hit it, and by 70mph, I can see his entire car in my side-view mirror. About two car lengths or more. So, I shut it down, fully expecting the fly-by that usually follows, but to my utter surprise, the guy brakes, pulls in behind me, and follows me, from a distance, until I make my left turn a mile or so down the road. Never even came close enough for me to wave a finger at him.

I'm pretty sure it was about a '96 to '98 model 'stang, so I know this isn't an AMAZING kill or anything like that, but it just felt so good!!! Hahahaha!!!!! PEACE!

No kidding. Sometimes you post on here and most people will be nice, congratulate you, whatever. Then you have the people that alwasy feel they have to either a.)correct you or b.) make it sound like they know so much more than everyone else by downplaying your fun. I guess you just have to tune them out. I'm glad you had fun! I love wasting Crustangs.

I had a run-in with a GT the other night.

I'm sitting at a light a stang pulls up. Not really paying to must attention to it. It peelllllllllls off, I'm like damn. At the next light I'm like lets see what this fool can do. So we both jump off. neak and neak to about 75 and I start to pull but not much.

To make it short I got to the next light about 1/2 car before.

This is where it gets interesting, I wanted to say good run so I put the windows down and honked so as the window on the stang came down (it was like midnight and the windows was tinted) it was this girl . I was like wow good run, she ask me if I was stock? when I told her it was she was like "damn that is fast". She say it's the 8 cyl GT and all she have so far is a (I think she said) Flowmaster exhaust system.

I'm so turned on by chicks who race. Was she hot?

Oh, was this GT the 225 HP model or one of the lesser ones? I would think the 255 HP max could beat it?

I beleive she said a 2001 GT 8cyl. Aren't those like 250-260hp? If I am wrong please correct me.

And she was warm not hot .

I was just watchin speed vision or some stuff last night, and they took a v6 mustang and sent it to some mustang aftermarket upgrade shop. They pumped $3,500.00 into this thing, and it ran a 16.5 @85 MPH in the 1/4, 0-60 was 7+ I forget exactly what. I was like

I can jog faster.

But still, you did the right thing in giving the kid a realistic view of how fast their car is
