Tire Recommendation - Sorry One More Time

We need tires for our 2000 SE with the factory 17" wheels. Don't like the RE92s that were the originals. Most everyone says to stay with the factory size of 225/50-17. The two brands that my local shops seem to suggest is the Falken ZIEX 512 and the Nitto 450. Can anyone help with another suggestion or just give me comments regarding either of these tires? This is my first post so I'll try to do better next time! Thanks for the help and there is definitely a lot of info here. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Bite the bullet and purchase Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's. I'm in Los Angeles and I can get away with running summer tires all year round. But you're far enough North that you need to be concerned about running tires that perform well in wet weather. I can't speak for the Falkens. But the Nitto's are definitely NOT great wet weather tires.
