18" Naganos, and cut Eibachs, not the typical NYC setup, but its not bad at all (except on 21st Street in Queensbridge)... totally worth the thrill of changing lanes without body sway.
Nice to see youre finally lowering the bad boy.

I do. Ride is firm and well-damped but
not rough or harsh. Then again, I'm running 17" wheels with rather soft tires -225/50 Michelin MXM4's. I could see this setup getting a bit too harsh with wheels/tires in diameters larger than 17".
No noises, creaks, groans or other NVH issues.

That is the funniest thing I have read since joining this forum. Do you honestly think a 1 1/2" drop and stiffer shocks is going to soften your ride????

If you want a smoother ride, you could also use a tire with more of a sidewall than you are running currently. This can be accomplished by stepping down to 17's OR running a tire with a higher aspect ratio (larger sidewall).
I have H&R and tokico's and I love the ride. I am running a 245/40 18 tire.
-good luck

Think about what you are doing to your car. You are removing the floaty, soft, stock supension. You are dropping your car 1 1/2 inches and putting in a stiffer shock that will be compatable with a lowered spring.......(which from what I understand, Tokicos are not).
If you don't like the ride now, the problem is with the 18" wheels and tires you are using.
You can lower your car and put big wheels on it for looks and performance.......but the last thing you will get is comfort.

Tokicos are fine for lowering, they are not recommended for anything exceeding 1.5" in drop, eibachs will work fine with them. Tokicos are the most common choice for struts/shocks that are used when lowering a maxima.

I have the setup and its amazing. I love the handling. Its like the car is on rails. I have a powerpoint slide of the car if you want it e-mailed. The ride is tight. The only problem I see at times is if I have a car full of people and I come across one of the nasty potholes here in Michigan, it hits hard.
