Help me please check engine?

I put a frankencar intake on and i have had it on for a week. The car was runnig great until my mom took it out last night. Then a check engine came on. The car still runs great but i dont know why it came on. I did a search and found this site that tells you how to check the trouble codes by how many times the enige light blink but my ecu is different then the one they picture. http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html That is the sight. is there anyway to find out, how do i reset my engine light?

To reset your ECU just take off the negative battery cable for an hour or so. You can take your car to an Autozone if you have them and they can run a scan and pull a code to see why your engine light is on. I got a SES light with my Frankencar too, but I didnt get any codes. Let me know if you get it figured out and if it stays off.

you need an OBD-II scanner to read the codes. I think Autozone does it free of charge... not sure tho...
