Hey all,

I have searched, but, didn't come up with a great deal, and, I was wondering if anyone had installed a push button starter in thier 5th gen. I have seent hem here for $40 and figured it would be a little different. Not being mechanically minded, or that car savvy when it comes to modding, any info on the install, or opinion on the project would be welcomed.

i have a remote start for my 2k se if thats what you are refering
to. its great i love it. i have the clifford matrix rs purchased
from best buy, it starts the car,keyless entry,pops trunk and has
an extra button that a relay could be added to roll down windows,
pop gas door or even open sunroof. it sells for 259 installed here
and you will need a device to overide the starter chip in your key
and i believe it was around 40 or 50 dollars. they are cheaper ones
out there but this is the one i liked.

 

i believe hes referring to the Start buttons inside the car, ala S2000 im thinking.....as far as i know, nobody has done that here, but maybe im wrong
