Heated Steering Wheel --> KICKS ***!

ok, so i have a lot of power, but it's been really cold lately, and my heated steering wheel is FiretrUCKING AWESOME!

does anyone else feel the same passion for their steering wheel heater like I do?

I'd give up my heated leather seats before I'd give up the heated steering wheel...and my sunroof, and my BLOSE audio system...

just another positive thread...

I'm with you. I feel like such a wuss for admitting it, but I love it. Now we just need a heated gear shift ****. Man, I'm getting soft in my old age. Used to be when I looked for a car I didn't even want AC in it because it could rob some of my HP.

I actually thought this was a silly idea. Just another thing to break down in time. That was back in October... Now I wish I could turn it on 5 minutes before I get in the car!!!

I find myself laugh at others wearing gloves in their cars while driving!!!

i wish it had an on/off switch like the seats and not one of those switches that is always off when you start the car. I'm lazy I guess.

heated shift **** would be nice...

here is how you can get a feel for how much of a benefit it's giving you...yesterday after work, i had to use my horn, and my hand about turned to ice when i touched the airbag/horn...

try it...you get so used to the steering wheel being so hot, that you take it for granted.

I think I would miss that option more than anything if I had to downgrade because of upcoming layoffs...

I made fun of the heated wheel idea the day I bought the car, and claimed I'd never use it. Well, 2 days later it was like 20 degrees when I came out of work and I fired it up. Its awesome, I love it!

yeah, i thought it was kinda a funky GM type "extra" but it turned out to be very useful.

I personally love it. It sure is nice to get inside the car and see the temp like 33 degress or so and then kick on the heated steering wheel and it is almost instant heat. Great idea in my opinion. Gear shifter idea would be great too.

Get the 3M tape on the front. Too much grit gets stuck between the bra and the paint, IMHO.

My mom bought a 2003 I35 last week and it that is probably my second favorite thing about the car (the engine being the first). I made fun of it too until I drove it when its 20 degrees outside. The rear heated seats are a nice touch too.

When I first started hearing about cars with heated seats and steering wheels I was like, "WTF do you need that for?" Well, after a whopping 2 full weeks of owning a 2K3 with heated seats and wheel I can fully atest that I am now a believer. I'm now wondering how I can retrofit my 3rd gen with these fine examples of engineering.

The first thing that I do after I start the car is reach for that button to turn on the heated steering wheel. I'll never go without again.

Yea, this is just about one of my favorite things about my Max. Now when I get my next new car it's gonna have to have this too. That seriously narrows my choices

When I bought my car, I didn't want leather, but wanted Meridian so bad. I was happy to find out you could get Meridian with cloth seats! Only downside was you had to get Bose too. Glad I got it though, because the heated seats are great. Never thought I'd use the heated steering wheel, but I use it every morning now, and don't know what I'd do without it!! I was comparing my car to my friend's last gen A4, which didn't have heated steering wheel
