To make a long story short we left a parking lot were everyone meets and both had a passenger w/ him sayin i'll take a peice of that maxima before we left. We went to 485 which had hardly any traffic and did a run from 50-120. All I can say is we were lookin in each others windows side by side until 100 then he pulled about 3/4 of a car on me and we shut down. I wish I had my intake on for that but all in all I was pleased with the outcome b/c he had full exhaust and intake and couldn't pull an inch on me till after 100. It was fun and I'm still alive so no stupid a$$ comments yes street racing is dumb so SUE ME.

 

You have an Auto or 6spd?

I would expect a 6 spd to pull a bit, but I might be wrong, I never raced a 2k2 Mustang GT.

hes auto. but i still doubt a 6speed max could pull on a 5speed GT(new model) they run consistant 13.9-14.1 with a good driver. and blue is very quick for an auto max. auto GT stangs run like high 14's low 15's though

nice race. its good to know our autos can keep with with mustangs. i felt the same way about my race with a wrx when i barely lost.

I raced my buddies 2k2 auto GT from 20-90 and we were dead even the whole way.

Auto. I know had we raced from a dead stop it would have most liekly been a different outcome.

 

im calling BS on this one. thats like saying a cl-s could run door to door with a stage 3 roush.

 

I believe it. He's in the 13s with drag radials, so why couldnt it be that close?
