New Injen CAI installed and 1st kill!!!

I just got my new Injen CAI yesterday and installed it. Did anyonelse have some restrictions with the Oil dipstick/standpipe? I just worked around it but it definately made things a little "tight". Then after installing it I took it for a short ride to admire the louder and better perfoming max. A guy pulls up next to me at a redlight driving a new Dodge truck w/ the Hemi. I really wasn't thinking he was going to try to race me (around here it seems only 4 cyl race) well light turns green and Mr. Dodge breaks tread so I did the same. it was a short distance maybe just getting into 3rd (Auto) and we were stopping again, but I had him by at least 2-3 cars. Now time for some real traction as it seems the Slick-stones don't like to grab too much. I've got the Warpspeed Y and B pipes coming in and a Greddy Evo rear section....Man I love this car, now if I could just get it though my window she could sleep in the house with the wife outside..sigh.....

Nice kill

Some people tend to underestimate trucks because of their size, I had a run in last night with a Dodge Hemi, actually he started out racing a chevy from the light, he blew him away.

I ended up right behind him at the right lane turn light that lead to the highway, he saw me in his rearview adn he waited until I got right behind him and he took off as fast as he could in the right lane, I took the left lane and I began to pass him at about 30/35 mph and when we got even he say what kind of car it was so I guess he just kinda stop racing and gave up, cause I smoked him by then.

Anyway, I didn't want to take credit from your kill and a kill is a kill, just don't underestimate who you go against because they are in a big truck.

Greddy makes just the rear section? You might want to check that again.

Greddy Info

Here is the link you requested so you can find out what Greddy makes. When I say rear section of the exhaust i mean the cat-back portion hence the rear section.

Hopefully they will add the HEMI to the Dakota lineup REAL SOON. I love the weight of the Dakota vs. other trucks. I ran mid 14's all day with my '02 4.7L CC (it's even an auto). I do have a few performance parts added, though. Stock I never ran it, but I'm sure it was low to mid 15's.

My cousin has an 01 R/T R/C and it is a nice truck. He's raced a 4.7 R/C 5-spd and beat it only by 1 truck length (when he was stock) Now he's running 14.6's with bolt on's.

Nice...I had some guy in a Harley Davidson edition Ford try something similiar and I left him...we were rolling at ~30.
I'm gonna order a similar exhaust to what you mentioned real soon....unless Stillen is the real deal.

Then you are going to have 2 of the same pipes. The Greddy comes with a B-pipe and you also ordered one from warpspeed.

The Greddy exhaust (depending on where you order from) does not include the B-pipe with a resonator. The B-pipe may be included in a group purchase from this forum however I got a deal on the rear section only. I was torn between the Greddy B-pipe and the warpspeed until I heard wav files of them both. Hopefully this total package will be alot better than stock. Thanks for the reply though.
