Have no idea what just happened to my previous post...

Does anyone here get mailings from Gwinnett Place Nissan in Georgia? I need a coupon for a 30000 mile service which I'm getting done. The guy wants 400+ [rip off] to have it done but with the coupon it should be around 320 or however much it is.

Also, does anyone know if you can pricematch other coupons? My gf got a mailing from her nissan dealership with a coupon in it. But it says that you have to use it at that dealership. Can I take it in and have them honor it?

Thanks.

Who did you talk to at G.P. Nissan? I used to deal with Matt Schnall all the time and was great to work with.

As far as the coupon from another dealer, I don't think they would honor that. All you can do is ask, though. Maybe you will catch someone having a good day....

You could try going to Mall of GA Nissan. Matt S. used to work for them before going back to G.P. Nissan. I had asked him at one time if a buddy who bought his car from G.P. Nissan could bring his car their and use his coupons. Matt said there wouldn't be any problems. So my suggestions would be to call them.

I got mine at Performance also

You can do your own 30k service for alot less that 320-400. That really is a profit center for them.

(edit)
The more I think about it if you don't like working on cars I'd be happy to give a $50 discount on a $400 30k service.

I wouldn't go to Gwinnett Place nissan. Service manager tired to tell me that the cracks on my paint were my fault. Performance Nissan was totally cool about it and told me that the cracks were under the clearcoat. I've also had really good experiences with Sutherlin Nissan. Either one is better than Gwinnett

Geez, I didn't know there were so many GA boys on this forum.

Everything was goin well when I dropped it off. The service engine light came on so I just decided to take it to the dealer. He was real nice and said yeah we'll take care of everything. Even 'offered' to give me a free rental car for the day so I could get back to school. Turns out it's standard policy to offer free rentals Then I come back here and read up on it AFTER I put it in. For the life of my maxima, I will never forget this. I'm sure I'll regret wasting all this money on this service. Now I'm just lookin for the coupon to keep the swelling down on my ***.

I don't think the coupon will save you much. Which is why they ask you to show the coupon up front so they could screw you with padded charges in other areas on the bill.

YUP

Which is why it's better to do this type of service yourself or have your own shop do the work. If done yourself I don't see it costing much more than $100(with better fluids) & $200 if you have a shop do the work. The way I see it the dealer is taking $200 of your mod money

I don't let dealers do anything except for warranty repairs to my vehicles after I purchase them. Too many times they want to screw you around. I keep all my oil change documents/recipts, all parts recipts, and even take digital photos of my work so they can't BS me in any way shape or form.

I have had terrible experiences with Gwinnett Place Nissan. They are such rip-off artists! I am a young female & they tell me so much crap I guess thinking that I will believe everything that they tell me. I would try another dealership - they suck!!!

You can try Regal Nissan in Roswell off Holcomb Bridge Road (just east of GA-400). I've only had my 2k2 Max serviced there one time (I've only owned it 3 weeks). I was feeling Brake Judder over 70 mph, and Regal turned the rotors for free under warranty. Judder is now gone. I don't know if it is standard practice, but they even washed my car while I had it in there. The were a bit slow in getting back to me at the end of the day, but hey the price and results were what mattered.
