2. Do they come with bulbs?
3. Is there any extra wires to run for the angel lights, or are they tapped off, of the fogs?
4. Is there any warranty?

Thanks.

1 yes direct replacement
2 yes
3 extra wires...positive and negative with or without a switch
4 yes, not sure how long yet

Check out these angel eyes! We could get both sets!

And I have a question are these fog lights going to be in the same spectrum as the factory ones, or can we get brighter fog lights?

Is this only for 2000-2001? Because don't the 2002-2003 have bigger, or more oval shaped, fog lights?

The 00-01 fog lights have different part numbers compared to the 02-03 lights. Check out Courtesy's 5th Gen page and you'll see 2 different kits near the bottom of the page. I have a feeling that the 5.5 Gen Maxes are gonna be left out.

But... If it works on an '02 then you can count me in as well.

Here's a little bit more info on the lamps. Looks like they're some kind of "universal" fog light so they're probably not simple drop in replacements.

Wow I didnt even see that site. I guess the point of a group deal isnt really needed if they sell them at $55 already.

Hmmm...from that picture it looks like it would replace the whole foglight, not just lay over or inside it. That makes me a little weary about it now. But maybe they can be installed rather painlessly. Let's hope and see.

Anyone know the stock dimensions of the OEM fogs on the 2k-2k1? The Optilux Angel eyes are- 4"diameter & 2 1/2"deep without mounting.

Do you still have to install them yourself or can you buy an actual fog light with the rings in them?

Thanks Guys!

I have been following this thread as I have just purchased a 2003 Maxima and all the talk about angel eyes got me to thinking. My project car is a 93 LE Miata, Black with Red leather interior.

Anyway I long ago dumped the barn door popup lights in favor of a low profile dual headlight setup. Thanks to you all, I went looking and was able to modify my miata with angel eyes!!

Heres a few pics and an AVI to demostrate.... The angels are nowhere near the blue that the pics show... The camera just doesn't do them justice.

Anyway, Thanks for the idea. And I absolutely love my 2k3 Maxima!!

Floridabornmax,

Do the LED rings show at all when the fog lights are on?

Was the wiring easy?

I was wondering the same thing. That pic was not my pic. It was from the message above me. I was just replying. I want to know where I can get those and how hard the wiring is myself.

I have super plasma bulbs in my fogs. Is the halo the same
color as my bulbs? I want to be sure they can be seen if I
