So you bolted the 8" JL Audio sub right in place of the fugly bose? No conversion issues because you gutted the bose right?

My friend has a nice TL-S he wants to get rid of the crappy bose sub but maintain his stock head-unit.

Those speakers are not Bose speakers IIRC. They (the speakers) are just positioned by Bose.

dvd ansd sub

the nice thing about being in illinois with out of state plates it that the cops dont usually pull you over.

with the sub. it ran me about $450 with amp, sub, and install, the jl amp automatically converts the signal form the hu. you do have to usea dremel on the mounting plate cause the jl sub is a bit biger than the bose. as for the hit? yeah it hits better, and its cleaner, but its not the power you would get from an enclosure. im actually adding a jl 12w3 soon so i can get more low range bass. plus it will be unique for shows (if i go down that path)
