hey maxima ppl!

I need some help in looking at 00' max exhaust system. I'm looking for something that is not expensive but good. Have any suggestions? can I get something that is less than $300? If its like over $300, I guess i'll just get an aftermarket muffler for $130 bucks. Let me know guyz thanxs.

get a y pipe. it will be the biggest bang for buck in the exhaust system. check cattman, stillen, warpspeed.

The stock muffler is great unless you are a ricer and want a 4" tip to show off to your friends.

a y-pipe/cat is certainly in the future for me. My question is, I have a 2k2 - should I wait for the warranty to expire? In terms of emissions, is it a situation where I just warm the car, and the emissions should be fine?

get a greddy evo, maybe 200 more than three hundred, but that with a ypipe gives a nice nutty sound, makes people wonder.i hear the stillen exhaust is very loud and sounds ricey but its up to u

I have the Cattman and I like my ricey dual tips. The whole exhaust sounds pretty mean.

i'm waitin for headers to come out before i do anything to the exhaust. figure those will be the biggest improvement, and i'll be able to work the exhuast around it. think i'll go custom cat-back this time tho, as i was told be my mechanic that he could make a custom setup for cheaper than any of the "bolt on" systems out there. sounds good to me!

If you install an aftermarket exhaust keep the original one in the closet or something. as far as emissions testing it will pass, because the catalytic converter is still installed. as long as it's good you will pass.
