K&N filter size/model that will go onto frankencar intake

hi guys,
i'm looking to replace the k&N filter that came with frankencar intake. I was looking for it on ebay and didn't know which one will fit. and what's the biggest K&N filter that will fit into our hood and frankencar intake

ive tried a few different k&n's and im pretty happy with the rr-3003. its not the longest one but its open ended like the apex and it has a nice look too. also have a molded in velocity stack. you check it out on my homepage. if you want something else, search the knfilters.com for the filters with 3" opening.

i saw someone talking about bigger K&N filter gives off more hp?
is that true?

i heard its best to get largest filter feasible. i doubt the hp gain would be that beneficial to stuff anything real big in there. the filter that came with the berk was a pretty big filter and was pretty inexpensive. i dont have the part number right now but i can find it later on.
