When I start my car I hear belt squeaking. Does anyone else have the same problme??

 

yea, happens on my 2k1, 20.5k miles, wat the heck could be doin that

 

Tighten the alternator belt.... I've seen a lot of ppl have this same exact problem..

 

If I turn off my heater than it won't squeak anymore

 

i have this same problem , one dealership told me to have the belts changed even tho i only have 36k miles.

The real problem is i need a new powersteering pullley , its bent or cockeyed, causing the belt to rub on the sides of teh pulley.

 

I hear this squeaking/whisteling all the time even after the car is warmed up. I have 25k on my 2k SE. I have no idea what this is. Also, when I start the car when it is cold there is a real quick whine sound that is pretty loud than stops. After that the squeaking or whistling sound is faint but constant. It sounds like something is rubbing.
