Hi,
My max has 1500 miles. What is the best performance mode to do at this point that does not effect the Nissan Warrantee?

Where should I begin?
Would appreciate advise for a newbie!!

Thank you

i think pretty much any mod *could potentially* void your warranty, but i think your best bets would be:

front strut tower brace
don in texas' valve body recalibration
hi-flow/ pop intake

Get all the braces and bars. Light bulbs won't void you... like someone said, brakes and tires... aero kit... tint... dash kit... antenna!

VB recal will void (if they find it).
Intake (if they're **** and are too lazy to do warranty service).

lights

it'll void your warranty if you get a diff wattage from the factory.. antenna will too.. it messes up the airbags and chases the chix away.. haha j/p that antenna is not bad. but i wanna get the gps on benz has.. and actually use my gps with it. brakes will also void tho..

Wash and Wax your car.. Washing shouldn't cause any concern for warranty claims... waxing might.. if you screw up your paint job.. so be careful with that one.
You can vacuum the inside of the car too, and I'm just about positive that won't affect your warranty... and usually you'll pick up a few HP from that.

Man.. picking up horsepower from vacuuming. I think you're dropping a few too many McDonalds french fries on your floor if you notice a power gain after vacuuming.

gross..

maybe loosing body weight helps better.. becareful not to paint certain things such as brake calipers and such.. they'll give u some bs about it.. if u really wanna fight a warranty issue u can.. they way it works in court is, they have to prove that, the specific mod did indeed ruin or cause the ruining of a certain oem part. u just need to sit there an listen to them bs..

Warranty Confusion

Guys, changing the wattage on your fog lamps DOES NOT void your warranty. The only things that void your warranty are if they can PROVE causation between the mod and any failure. For example, if you put a Y-pipe on your car, and the stock stereo fails, the stereo would still be replaced under warranty. There has to be CAUSE.

The best thing to do is to check with your service manager and test him to see what gives him heartburn and what doesn't. I had a couple long conversations with mine and he has let me do lots of things and still does warranty service to the car. He basically told me flat-out these things were off-limits: VB recal, Supercharger, ECU.

I've done lots to the car and they just recently did a TCU replacement under warranty.

if

u run a really really high wattage bulb it'll get hot and melt your lense and wires. that would void your warranty. thas proof right there. i'm not arguing. i'm just sayin' waht my service dept told me.. but they sold me the piaa's hahah he said don't worry because we buddies. but then again it's the sw that r not that high.
