Electrical Problem

I am having an electrical problem with my Max, and was hoping to get some input from the community. I have a 2k2, with 2x600 watt amps RMS, a NX bottle Blanket, nav, tv tuner, and xm hooked up constantly. I was having an issue where my lights would SEVERLY dim at idle (like at a stoplight) and the radio would shut off completely. Being that I had an underdrive pulley on the car, I assumed that was the culprit, as it underdrives the alternator. I have replaced the alternator (I also assumed I must have done some damage to it, plus to eliminate that possibility) and put back on the stock pulley. However I am still getting only reading of 12.8 volts @ idle, and 13.5 at 2000 rpms, and that is without the amps hooked up! So now I am stuck as what could be the issue, I would think I should read around 14.4 or so at idle with no amps, right? Someone mentioned I might have a bad ground somewhere, but where should I check? Does anyone have any ideas? And yes BigDonJonx, I should have trusted your advise.

HELP!!! PLEASE!!!
