dash creaking stopped

The temp here where I live (30 mi north of Boston) just reached 40.
I noticed the dash creaking by the pass side had stopped.
I did the A pillar fix but it still made noise the past month during the below 20 degree weather.
Anyone else notice their car is quiter as the weather warms ?

are you 100% sure the creaking wasn't caused by ice on the outside, and the creaking stopped because now the ice melted? I found a chunk of ice jammed under the passenger side of the hood, in the area where the hood and windshield come close/meet.

Absolutely. 40 degrees seems to be the magic number. anything less and i get the same craking from the A-pillar/right dash area. I haven't done the A-pillar fix yet and may not as the temps are more often than not getting above 40 degrees here in memphis. Above 40 and no creaks or rattles whatsoever........
