Why does the rear of the max get 3x dirtier than the front?

Looking at my car today, it seems that the front is only moderately dirty. Even from the fwd tires to the passenger doors, its not bad at all. While the rear of the car (top of trunk, tail lights and below) is downright filthy. I have splash guards, but I think they are more cosmetic than anything.

I could understand this problem more if the max was rear wheel drive. I'm just trying to figure out how to minimize this effect, if possible.

We have 2 other fwd cars (GM) that don't exhibit this "dirty" rearward trend. Is it something to do with the aerodynamics of the max?

Aero dynamics dude, the wind just gets sucked up by the rear of the car, if u dont wash the car long enough u can actually tell were is wind flows by the way the dust builds up but yeah thats the main reason the rear gets dirtier as the wind flip over the rear all the dust in the air just clings. Also if u notice the front of the car just loves insects, I know mine does.

I should know better than to post at 2am. I don't drive the GM vehicles nearly as fast as I do the max. It’s definitely an aerodynamics thing. I'm going to bed now....

Drive backwards.

Then you'd get to complain about paint chips on your trunk and rear bumper...
