Steering Wheel Radio Control Problem

I have a 2001 SE and recently began experiencing problems with the radio controls on my steering wheel. The majority of the time, when I press either the volume, station or mode buttons, they do not work. Sometimes I have to press the button 10 times before it works. Has anyone else experienced this issue? It seems the buttons are not making contact with the inner controls. I plan to have Nissan look at it, but I was curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Same exact problem here! I'm in northern NJ. I think it's related to the cold weather. After the car is warmed up for a while, the buttons work again. I haven't had it checked out. Just living with it.

I was just thinking about that this morning. It just seems to be my station/track up button that I have to press twice for it to work. Or sometimes if I press it once it jumps two tracks. Not sure if it only happens when its cold out or what the deal is. But it doesnt happen enough for me to really worry about it.
