Timing Advance and lack of a dealership

Just came back from my local dealer (Melloy Nissan) here in Albuquerque and they say the timing on 2k2s and 2k3s cannot be adjusted. they said their tech attempted to adjust the timing and could not do it. When I told them I have instuctions on how to do it they said if they weren't "Nissan" service instructions that they could not do it. Is their anyone else in the area or surrounding areas that would be able to accomplish this? When I had my TT300zx I hated Melloy but figured it's been a few years and guess what? they haven't.

A$$holes! Have them call the Lead Tech at Performance Nissan. His name is Dave Mullen. You can reach him at 626-305-3000 x 274.

I'd recommend you have them make the call BEFORE you go back tomorrow. Otherwise you might be in for a long wait.
