Am i the only fool that was waiting around for the dealership to call me about the recalls on my max, well i visited them today about a tsb i saw online and it turned out that my max needs the traverse link replaced as part of the recall.Cant believe i've been hauling a** with this bad linkage

 

Bought my 2k2 last May and never got a letter about the link recall. I found out from the dealer when I called and asked...ba$tards...

I bought a 2K2 leftover and called today about the recalls...they were both fixed before the car was put out on the lot...

 

I bought my 2k2 maxima se brand new in the june that just passed. Would the recalls already be fixed on my car?

 

True that, I got mine in July and it was assembled in January, what do y'all think on the recall situation?

 

The recall is based on your vin#. Cars built after 01/02 do not need either recall. If your still not sure call the service dept. and ask if you need to bring your car in for any recalls, they will then ask you for your vin# and let you know if you need to get it done. BTW I got mine in May 02, my vin didn't apply to either recall.

 

You can check www.nhtsa.dot.gov for any recalls on your car. Technical Service Bulletins are also available.
